Hello everyone, my name is Katie and I (with help from others) have interviewed some students. Instead of saying where we live now, I will say WMS (which is our school abbrevation), but it will go as our whole city. The 3 students are:
Morgan (answers in this color)
Dillon (answers in this color)
Caleb (answers in this color)
Question 1: What is it like where you moved from?
I moved from Michigan. In the summer it is fun because we can go to the beach all the time. Its fun to go downtown and see the lake. The place I moved form in Michigan is a oretty nice place and the schools are good too. The staff are really nice people, I really like the teachers.
I moved from Mississippi. Humid and hot pretty much all year ’round except for a few days when its cold.
I moved from Florida. Cold, not as cold as here though, no snow.
Question 2: How is it different from here?
One thing is that WMS is bigger. Where I moved from is more of a small town and WMS is a bit bigger city. Where I came from is on a lake and WMS has no lake.
Well, kind of hard to explain but its cold here and where I came from everyone has an accent.
Where I came from everything is outside and there are 6 periods in a school day.
Question 3: Do you like WMS or where you came from more?
I like them both the same. I miss my friends but I really like WMS. If I moved back to Michigan I would miss my friends here as well.
Mississippi. I fit in around there, I have the accent, and I know my way around…so, yeah.
WMS. I like the snow.
Question 4: Anything else you would like to add?
I dont want to move again, unless back to Michigan. I did not mind moving here.
Dont walk around without shoes. Everybody is nice down there, mostly. Only 2 classes of our grade in Mississippi.
Well, I have played soccer for 8 years and I love sports.
Well that is our interview for this week. Thanks for reading and hope you read next time. That was a little about some new WMS students and their word on some things.
